Love the phone recommendation. I have a tiny Palm PVG-100 similarly loaded with only a few critical apps. Right now I just tether it to my iPhone hotspot and keep the latter zipped deep in my bag, but considering a second SIM. Real freedom will be a flip phone and having to pull my laptop out for any real work. I need the higher barriers to prevent distraction. This is a great trend!
So true about having the higher barriers. I *do* want to get certain things done with it. I also like using it for Audible + Kindle rather than browsing the internet. With so much information coming our way I think the barriers give our minds time to truly think and process. Very freeing to leave home with it!
