The Elevator: A better hierarchy of needs, SAAS Agent Hubs, And GLP-1's Blocking Desire?
The Elevator: Curated inputs to elevate your awareness for business and life.
Hey All,
I’m deep in the OpenClaw agent building mode. I am sure my wife hates it. She knows my daily triumphs and struggles with my digital assistant.
Lots of people are losing sleep over this. Not me.
I’ve been taking ashwagandha after dinner and it’s been great for relaxation and sleep.
I buy Momentous brand which is NSF certified. I just take one capsule after dinner.
A Relational Lens for Life
Tim Ferriss wrote a long piece this week that I appreciate. Self help can become self-obsession. He calls it being a “SOMO” a self-obsessed masturbatory ouroboros. (His words, not mine.)
This is such a great to-do list prompt:
”What if nearly everything you focused on — calendar, habits, goals — aimed to improve your relational life somehow?
What if you took this as a challenge for even a week?
Your lens on the world changes dramatically.”
He replaces Maslow’s pyramid with a hamburger.
Business problems are almost always people problems.
Tim’s post is the longer version of something I tell clients every week: the work we’re doing is relational.
SaaS Platform’s as Agent Hubs
Good piece from SaaStr on how Salesforce went from not necessary to daily driver due to the agentification.
AI agents need places to live and work within your teams.
When you run 20 agents across your business they all need somewhere to read from and write to. Salesforce became a hub for those interactions and coordiation..
What was notabale was the piece where they said they pay more for Salesforce itself.
Desire Inhibition
Pair this with the Tim Ferriss piece above.
*Note, this got a community note saying there is no evidence to this claim.
Still, something to watch around how we’re subtly changing. I see this more like alcohol or caffeine. Daily drivers that adjust our consciousness (For better or worse, or both).
